Arc de Triomphe
The ‘Arc de Triomphe’ is one of the most famous monuments in Paris. It forms the backdrop for an impressive urban ensemble in Paris. It was commissioned by Emperor Napoleon, So that his victorious troops could march into Paris.
Create Panorama images with Photoshop
Today I am going to give the steps to create a panorama image using photoshop bridge/cs4.
- Select the set of images you have taken for the panorama shot. The images should of same exposure and aperture.
- Select Photomerge from the tools toolbar.
- Now photoshop will open a window listing the merge options. Select auto (works the best) and select geometric distortion control (if required).
- Photoshop will do its magic and give you the final panorama image. You will need to crop the image to get the perfect picture.
- Viola.. here is the panorama..
- Now to the basic adjustments -
- Do some curves and Levels adjustment
- Play with vibrance and exposure
- Here is my final image after adjustments
- Flatten the image and save as .JPG for distribution..
Orange Juice..? Not a sip again…!!!
Its very sad to know what the Orange Juice we drink daily contains. Nothing but harmful chemicals added just to increase the taste, flavor and shelf live. From today , Its a definite NO to processed, artificial OJ.

Sunset in NY..
Its quiet amazing.. Isn’t it ? A beautiful sunset in NYC.. I took this picture from my office. Very few days of sun left in the year. I wanted to make complete use of it.. 
It feels great when you see the buildings all colored in golden orange. Its actually breathtaking. Every time I look at the sunset, I always have the urge to head to a beach and enjoy the moment…
Oh.. Its Monday again..!!
I cant believe…. it is Monday again. I am so depressed. Got to work tomorrow. Cannot wait for the Thanksgiving holidays. I do not have much to do though. Few things in my list -
- Check out ‘Twilight – the new moon’
- I definitely want to roam the streets of New York. I jus luv taking pictures.
- Planning to go on a shopping spree, probably any of the closest outlet malls.
Hmm… I got to put my thinking hat on.. What else can I do this thanksgiving – ?

Yankee’s Parade
It’s the time of the year when it gets breezy and cold in NYC. Guess what, the Yankees win the World Series. We have the super duper parade lined up on a Friday. Yup, it’s not a weekend, it’s on Friday. Why would someone arrange a parade on a week day and create so much chaos. People could not get to work on time; Broadway was closed for pedestrians too. You can’t cross the damn road. Wherever you see, there are barricades. I usually take a walk to my office from the WTC path, but I had to switch to subway to get to the nearest station.
Below is one of the many incidents during the parade. The boy was actually bleeding for more than 20 mins before the medic and the ambulance arrived. Very poor arrangements and anticipation of how things can go wrong.

Quarter Life Crisis….!!!
I think at this point, this is how I feel about my life…!
It is when you stop going along with the crowd and start realizing that there are a lot of things about yourself that you didn’t know and may or may not like.You start realizing that people are selfish and that, maybe, those friends that you thought you were so close to aren’t exactly the greatest people you have ever met and the people you have lost touch with are some of the most important ones.
You look at your job; It is not even close to what you thought you would be doing or maybe you are looking for one and realizing that you are going to have to start at the bottom and are scared.
You miss the comforts of college, of groups, of socializing with the same people on a constant basis. But then you realize that maybe they weren’t so great after all.You are beginning to understand yourself and what you want and do not want. Your opinions have gotten stronger. You see what others are doing and find yourself judging a bit more than usual because suddenly you realize that you have certain boundaries in your life and add things to your list of what is acceptable and what is not. You are insecure and then secure.
You get your heart broken and wonder how someone you loved could do such damage to you or you lay in bed and wonder why you can’t meet anyone decent enough to get to know better. You love someone but maybe love someone else too and cannot figure out why you are doing this because you are not a bad person.
You worry about loans and money and the future and making a life for yourself and while wining the race would be great, right now you’d just like to be a contender!
What you may not realize is that everyone reading this relates to it. We are in our best of times and our worst of times, trying as hard as we can to figure this whole thing out.
